What a wedding!

Shataka and Jason's wedding took place at the Odyssey Restaurant in Granada Hills today. The Valley certainly lived up to its reputation as it felt like it was over 100 degrees (and it certainly doesn't help if you're wearing all black). Their wedding was a LOT of fun though. :)

I just received my sample 10x10 flush mount album from my album company today and it looks FANTASTIC. The quality is great and looks super durable. :)

I worked with Harvard Photography again for Melissa & Raymond's wedding yesterday. I was incredibly excited about being able to shoot at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, having never shot there before. The church coordinator was a bit strict so we couldn't move around like we wanted but I think we still got some fabulous photographs.
After the ceremony, we headed down to the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. The ballroom there was stunning.

11 Hour Wedding

I just got back from my first 11 hour long wedding. (Actually, the bride and groom only booked us for 11 hours but the party is still going on!) The more I do these long weddings, the less my body aches - so I guess that's a good thing. :)
I'm uploading photos now so I will post some tomorrow - but for now, imagine a beautiful ceremony at the Cathedral of our Lady of the Angels and a reception at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. |

Lucy & Dan's Engagement Session

I was mistaken for paparazzi today while waiting for Lucy and Dan to arrive to begin their engagement session. Someone came up and asked me if a celebrity were arriving! I should've said yes and made up some extravagant story.
In any case, I had a wonderful time photographing Lucy and Dan - and I think we came away with some great shots. They're getting married in Lake Arrowhead - I wish I were available to photograph their wedding!

Fereshteh and Tyler had a beautiful ceremony in San Juan Capistrano.
I'm still recovering from holding my 70-200 mm lens and two camera bodies - but 8 hours, 2 photographers, a videographer, 150 guests, 7 bridesmaids, and 8 groomsmen later - I think we got some great shots.
These photos were yesterday while working with with Harvard Photography located in Santa Fe Springs, CA.
