I've been thinking a lot about how I approach wedding photography.
I got married in September of 2006 and absolutely hated our own wedding photographers. Photographs that should have been captured in the moment were redone, rehearsed, and forced. Looking at the photographs they provided us, the emotion was lacking.
From my own education, observations, and mistakes thus far, I aim to capture the moments that really mean something. I feel like if I am able to do that, then I have been successful.
From Brook and Andrew's wedding, here is my favorite shots of one of those "moments." I saw this and said to myself - "you better get this right." |
